One Month
I can't believe its already been a month! Time sure does fly by we've enjoyed having little Olivia in our lives and seeing how much she has changed in just one month. So far we've determined that she really has almost a 1/2 and 1/2 blend between me and Jake. She most definitely has Jakes ears and he thinks she has his head shape and we both apparently have clef chins but I think she has more his then mine. Then she has my lips and my eyes so far.. and she has a ton of the same facial expressions mostly always sucking on her lower lip :)

9 Months of Work
I made this video for you Cami. I know that you struggled a lot through the last 9 months to bring this incredible blessing into our lives. Thank you Cami for being so brave and so strong. Even when we found out that Olivia was not coming the way we planned, you were strong and never showed any fear. I love you and we are an eternal family.
Love,
Jake

Delivery Day
Soooo this is Jake on Delivery Day ( watching football .. I was actually really grateful there was college games on that friday I felt bad for Jake and didn't want him to be totally bored.. I was completely out of it and couldn't really concentrate on anything)
So a big reason I didn't want a C-section is because I hear women have a harder time connecting with their babies at first and I was afraid it would take away from the experience. But I am not a person at ALL that likes to show emotion in public and I always feel awkward about really personal experiences and sharing that with people and I DO NOT cry. But as soon as they pulled that baby out and I heard her cry I couldn't stop I seriously had to control myself from totally bawling big time. I didn't get to see her for a few mins I actually saw her for the first time in a picture. But heres a little sample of her in the delivery room and it was SOOOO cold in there I felt so bad.
So I have to say I'm so grateful for Jake and what a wonderful person he is. He has been SO awesome during this whole thing and has helped out so much I know theres alot of guys out there that wouldn't even come close to helping as much as he has. I'm so glad that he was able to give me like a million priesthood blessings to get me through the whole experience. He also is seriously the cutest dad and LOVES holding her and doesn't get frustrated with her when she just wont stop crying .. and he doesnt even get frustrated when she pees on him haha.

Thanksgiving
So for Thanksgiving we were able to go to some friend for Dinner ... Thanksgiving is very important to Jake..its his favorite holiday:) I was totally willing to make dinner but so glad we had somewhere to go the food was much better then what I would have made! So this is a picture of us right before we were on our way to the hospital after dinner. So Thursday night they were actually just softing my cervix which started contractions right away for me. Apparently I had been having contractions for a while just had no idea thats what they felt like till a machine was telling me!
