So I have to say I feel a little bit like a hippy lately ... between making my own baby food which I absolutely love this machine steams and blends the  food .. so easy less mess

and then theres the cloth diapers ... for various reasons I decided to give them a try. Honestly I like them for the most part and these G diapers are my favorite and I think they are super cute and not bulky at all .. and honestly so much easier to put on then a normal diaper b/c she WILL not sit still and the velcro is in the back .. but I'm probably going to hold off getting more b/c this is an expensive thing to start out but of course does save $$ who knows... but we already have a ton of disposable diapers for now.. 

BYU football has begun......

To start the season out we had a little party and had a couple families over it was a ton of fun and Olivia was absolutely loving the crazyness of all the kids there it was so much fun to watch her! The cute little cheerleading outfit shes wearing Jake picked out all on his own and surprised me with it:)

These cute little girls are about 7 mnth older then Olivia! Its crazy to see that Olivia is almost their size!

Getting so big

We have now said goodbye to the bumbo after she surprised with her ability to get out of it. 

We have switched to a sippy cup for a little juice or water after lunch .... this little girl refuses to hold her own bottle to eat .. she'll hold it sometimes but only when she wants to play with it .. to bad she wont take her formula in the sippy cup oh well maybe when we switch to actual milk :) 

She is now mobile!

Well shes actually been mobile for a couple of weeks now but I love it ... its so much fun to see her move around and entertain herself ! But now of course she thinks its a waste of  her talent / time to have a diaper change and get dressed. 

( she loves to come hang out with me in the kitchen :) )

Olivia now crawls ( yah!) .. she barely started though but gets better every day its so much fun! But I was ironing some clothes and didn't see her and she wasn't making any noise and this is where I found her :)

For those of you who don't know Jake is super sensitive to smell sooo I thought I'd make him his diaper kit in a tool tote and what dad doesn't need a mask and heavy duty gloves to change a diaper:) 

1st time swimming

As you can tell by her face she was not lovin the idea of the pool so we thought it was going to be a complete disaster.

Once she got use to the water she had tons of fun just chillin in her little floaty we even got some good laughs out of her:) Jake was super excited that she loved the pool ... he was just going on and on that Olivia will love doing everything thing with him if she likes the pool haha I think he forgets she's only 6 mnths old haha.

A Quarter of a Century Old Ughh!

So I have to say I actually had a really good birthday and Jake has come a LONGGG way since my 1st birthday with him as a married couple. He feels bad about it but I actually think its pretty funny. The 1st yr 1st off my birthday was on a Sunday he decided he wanted to go to work in the morning to get some overtime and he hadn't gotten my present yet so ran over to walmart on his way home and well yes he gave my present to me in the Walmart bag hahaha but it was a super cute pink tennis racket.. but he always says in his defense he had been thinking about it for a while and knew what he wanted to get and the tennis shop was closed on Sunday surprise surprise haha. Butttt this year was creat he got me this super cute bike that I'm way excited about ( it has pink rims you can't really tell in this photo which I love). He took the day off of work made me breakfast and later that night he made me my first birthday cake that I've had since we've gotten married haha and the 1st cake he's ever made he's not a cake fan so that was sweet of him:)  So it was an awesome day thanks Jake!

So we have a bit of a TV head on our hands.... I had her turned the other way and she positioned herself to watch TV :) Dad likes it I'm not a huge fan. Oh well...

Olivia 3 Months!

I can't believe she is already 3 mnths old! Time sure does fly by :) We have so much fun with  her and this is mostly what she does now a days is just stand up and look around once in a while she'll look at us and smile :) 

I LOVE these sunglasses haha ... she wore them for the first time yesterday it was hilarious we were at home depot and I turn the corner and Jakes at the check out with 3 grown man surrounding him checking out Olivia haha 

 

She Loves playing on this thing ( most of the time) she play for a while and then start to whine and as soon as I go sit by her she'll stop whining its funny ( for the most part ;) ) I guess she just wants to show me all of her toys.

  

This has been a ton of fun watching her this month discovering her hands :)

Happy Valentines Day!

So we got a ridiculous amount of snow .. about 13 inches in one day crazyness! Last I heard they have no record of ever getting this much snow here. But Jake went into the back yard and did this for me :) I thought it was pretty cute.

Not wanting to eat

Sooo Olivia doesn't want to eat what else is new... least this time shes being cute about it :)

2 mnths old

2 months old today can't believe it! We have both had so much fun with her and completely fallin in love with this little girl. She has Jake wondering if he even wants a little boy haha. So far things she likes I'd have to say #1 her dad for sure! She loves playing with him and always gets excited:) She loves her baby einstein toy and will play with that for seriously hrs ( shes not a fan of taking naps during the day yah for me). She also likes to play in her play pin and stare underneath the changing table in it again for hrs ...she thinks its much more interesting then me. She also likes getting her diaper changed?? go figure first week she screamed and now she be upset and as soon as you set her down to change her diaper she stops... She also likes the blow dryer she'll be crying and as soon as I turn that on she quits soooo now I have to do all of my hair with the blow dryer on the whole time... Play Time

Olivia loves playing on this thing.. which is great she has so much fun with it she wears herself out and falls asleep alot of times.. nothing cuter then a baby asleep from playing hard:) 

So I have tried a MILLION times to get footage of her cute sounds um no luck I have a MILLION videos of her like this ... still cute.... but not what i'm after:) .. everytime I turn the camera on she stops and when I turn it off she starts up again ...ughhh
