So our 1st thanksgiving turned out well and I have to say the food was really great! The only thing that didn't really turn out for were the sweet potatoes. But thats ok considering everything we made was a 1st for us. We had a ton of fun learning how to make all new things together and spending thanksgiving together. I was also very impressed on how well jake did on his very first turkey and proud of him for not throwing up while taking the guts out haha cause I know I would have.

Thats cute! =) I am proud of you guys for having your own that is awesome! I bet it costs a lot with two people, but thats awesome you guys know how to make all of that food! I still don't know how to make sweet potatoes, or pie, or turkey! So you definitely have a one up on me! Our 20 pounds of mashed potatoes turned out rather well! and it didn't take that long! So thats good! I sure miss ya! How is life going in texas? I tried calling you a couple of times to catch up! Ry and I have been sick with the miserable cold and flu! I haven't been this sick in years! And it wont go away and to top it off I am losing my voice! Such is life esp. around finals! Love ya!
